I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science of the University of Oxford, funded by the NWO Rubicon grant.
Previously, I was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the European University Institute (EUI).
I obtained my PhD at the Department of Sociology at Utrecht University and the Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS) graduate school. In my dissertation, I investigated how schools, family background, and genetic factors work together to shape educational inequalities.
My research interests include educational inequality, social stratification, gene-environment interactions, and quantitative methods.
